With the Spring weather, IGRA resumes its documentation project of cemeteries in cooperation with MyHeritage and BillionGraves. We worked on the Holon cemetery several months ago and now we are scheduling times for other cemeteries across Israel. These projects will bring together people from all over Israel interested in genealogy. Those participating must have a “smartphone”.

May 10, 2015 we are scheduled to be a part of the project at the cemetery in Rishon LeZion beginning at 8:30. If you are able to join us, please click here to register and details will be sent to you.

May 28, 2015 we are scheduled to be a part of the project at the cemetery in Rehovot beginning at 14:00. If you can join us, please click here to register and details will be sent to you.

In addition to these – plans are being made for Hadera, Netanya, Pardes Hanna and Ra’anana. Details will be posted as soon as they are available.

There are also plans being developed for IGRA to assist in scanning and indexing material from several municipal archives. If you are interested in helping with this project and receiving details as they become available, please send us an email to webmaster@genealogy.org.il and we will be in touch with you.

Please inform me if you hold a Seminar on setting up a family tree. I have a tree but am new to all the possible facilities of research and contact.
