        • Operation Eagles’ Wings (Magic Carpet ) Yemenite Airlift:
          • Passenger List of Orphans, Women and Children, and Elderly Men, December 1948-March 1949         
            Following Israel’s independence, JDC organized and financed Operation Magic Carpet, bringing Yemenite Jews to Israel. The first phase initially airlifted orphans but then also included unaccompanied women and children and elderly men from mid-December 1948 through early March 1949 to the newly established State of Israel from the British Protectorate of Aden. The list includes names, sex, birth year, weight, and family status. The documentation was transcribed in JDC archives, with the transliteration from English to Hebrew handled by IGRA. A list of 3,062  airlifted from the Hashed Camp in Aden.

            A list of 1, 359 airlifted from Aden, who were already residents of Aden.
          • Phase Three  
            The third phase of the airlift began after the Imam of Yemen agreed to allow more than 45,000 members of the remaining Jewish community to leave. The list includes names, sex, birth year, weight, and family status.

        • Heads of Regional Councils 1955-1973 A composite list of 387 names of those who were the heads of regional councils in the years 1955, 1956, 1959, 1960, 1962, 1965, 1967, 1973 as published in the various issues of the Yearbook of Journalists. Some where found in in the collection of the Goldstein-Goren Diaspora Center and some where found in other libraries.

        • Index to Student Files from the Nahalal WIZO School  The WIZO School in Nahalal started in the 1920’s. Part of their files are now in the Regional Archive of Emek Yizrael. This is an index of the names in the files, and is an ongoing project of the files through the Mandate period of Eretz Israel. The files include information on candidates to the school.
        • Festschrift of the Hebrew Gymnasium in Jerusalem 1909-1962      In 1962 the Gymnasia HaIvrit in Jerusalem published a book in honor of its jubilee. The book includes a partial list of the graduates from 1909-1916, graduates from 1921-1962, the students studying at the Gymnasia during 1962, and the staff members during all those years. The list includes the  names of 4092 students and staff.
