June 9, 2013 is International Archives Day. Some of the goals are: making the public aware of the importance of archives, making all aware of the need to preserve documents and make them available to the public, to publicize the archive holdings….
IGRA has a relationship with close to 30 archives and is working prepare databases that relate to those who lived in this corner of the world or documents that are held in archives here in Israel.
In honor of International Archives Day we are releasing the following databases:
Index of Etzel Service Card Applications 1949-1953
Executive of the Women’s International Zionist Organization (WIZO) 1927
Automobile Owners in Petah Tikva 1928
Those allowed to serve as lawyers in civil courts in 1958
Persons authorized to act as notaries in 1957-58
Licensed physicians who received their license from 21 January 1958 to 31 December 1959
Licensed midwives who received their licenses through December 31, 1959
