I created my first family-roots project back in elementary school, and over the years, my family tree grew far beyond recognition. But a few years ago, I deleted everything and started again—this time with a solid, methodical approach.
In this talk, I’ll discuss what led me to rebuild my research from scratch and the techniques I use today. You will walk away with practical workflows you can apply to your own genealogical research.
Daniella Alyagon is a genealogist and actuary with over 30 years of experience in family history research. Her geographical areas of expertise include Austria, Galicia, Bukowina, Poland, and Israel. Passionate about archival research, she mentor other researchers and share strategies for uncovering family stories through lectures, guidance, and tackling complex research challenges.
