A brief presentation about a trip I took before and after the IAJGS conference in Warsaw in 2018 through the heart of Galicia with a group of descendants of the shtetl where my father was born, Nadworna which was in Galicia, then Poland and now in Ukraine.
StevenTurner is the President of Gesher Galicia and a retired dentist dedicatedto Jewish genealogy and heritage preservation. His passion began in childhoodat a Brooklyn Galitzianer shul. Today, he leads multiple research groups,manages Ashkenazi DNA projects, restores cemeteries, and serves on the board ofthe Jewish Genealogy Society of Long Island.

3. מצגת קצרה על מסעשורשים שערכתי לפני ואחרי כנס IAJGS בשנת 2018 בלב גליציה, יחד עם קבוצת צאצאים מהשטעטל Nadwórna שבו נולד אבי, אז בגליציה,אח"כ בפולין, והיום באוקראינה.
ד"ר סטיבן טרנר הוא נשיא "גשר גליציה" ורופא שיניים בגמלאות, המקדיש את זמנו לגנאלוגיה יהודית ולשימור מורשת. תשוקתו לנושא החלה בילדותו, בבית כנסת של יוצאי גליציה בברוקלין. כיום הוא מוביל קבוצות מחקר מגוונות, מנהל פרויקטים של DNA אשכנזי, משקם בתי עלמין וחבר בוועד החברה לגנאלוגיה יהודית בלונג איילנד.
