Recipients Flour for Mazot Jerusalem – Sephardim for the years 1891, 1904, 1915, 1929 (images available)
These lists are found in the publication HaMoreh LeTzdaka Ma’aravim at the National Library of Israel. This is an allotment for buying flour for Passover known as Kimcha D’Pischa. The head of the household receiving the allotment is named and how many members of the family there are. These lists are important because these people may not be found in any other document because of their low economic status.. In this release 3,242 people are named. The heads of households may appear in more than one list.
1936-1948 British Mandate Guards Force (Notrim) Collection – (images available) update
The Notrim were Jewish auxiliaries, mainly police, set up in 1936 by the British in Mandatory Palestine during the 1936–39 Arab revolt. These ledgers are an everyday record of the administration of the guards through 1948 throughout the country. This month’s release includes 2,915 listings for family names starting with Bet. There are additional ledgers for surnames starting with the letter Bet. The documents are from the Israel State Archives.
Voters’ Register for the Jerusalem Municipal Elections 1950 – (images available) update
Voters’ lists since the founding of the State of Israel include residents of all denominations. This release includes 9,329 voters and is for voters’ precincts 37-54. The original document is in the Jerusalem Municipal Archives.
Immigration 1973 – (images available) update
The lists for the months May to December are included in this release and include 38,519 names. The documents are from the Israel State Archives.
