Eight new databases and another six were updated this month on IGRA’s AID collection, adding over 39,946 new listings, many of them with images. The addition of the candidates for the Histadrut and Na’amat elections in 1969 & 2007 extends the IGRA of Histadrut and Na’amat (formerly Moezet HaPoalot) candidates to cover almost 80 years of the organized labour force in Eretz Israel. Register of British Subjects – (images available) 1838-1908 update
This release includes the names of 5,601 people that are registered as British subjects or those under the protection of the British Consulate. People were required to register every year they resided in Eretz Israel.  The documents are from the Israel State Archives

Bikur Holim 1910-1914 – (images available)
A booklet listing 2,760 patients in the Bikur Holim Hospital in Jerusalem and the number of days they were hospitalized was found in the collection of the Israel National Library

British Mandate Guards Force (Notrim) Collection 1936-1948 – (images available) update
The Notrim were Jewish auxiliaries, mainly police, set up in 1936 by the British in Mandatory Palestine during the 1936–39 Arab revolt. These ledgers are an everyday record of the administration of the guards through 1948 throughout the country. This month’s release includes 11,263 listings for family names starting with the letters  Sameach and Peh. The documents are from the Israel State Archives

Voters in Local Elections in Holon 1940  – (images available)
This is the list of voters in the first election held for the local municipality of Holon which was founded in 1940. The document is from the Israel State Archives.

Deportation from Egypt 1940-1948 – (images available)
This collection includes 378 cards for people deported from Egypt by the British Government ruling Egypt at that time. The collection includes the front and back of the cards with pictures of the deportees. The collection is from the Israel State Archives.

Immigrants on the S.S. Guine 1944
The S.S. Guine made one trip to Haifa in October 1944 carrying 451 refugees. The refugees boarded at Lisbon, Cadiz and Tangier. The list is from the JDC Archives.

Casualties Police 1946-1948 – (images available)
This is a report of 82 casualties and killings of those serving in the Jewish Settlement Police during this period. The file is from the Israel State Archives.

Candidates for Local Elections after 1948  – (images available)  update
The municipal elections in the first years of the State of Israel, were not all held at the same time. This update includes the 431 candidates for the elections that took place in (1950) for Ramat Hasharon, Nahariya, Ramleh, Tiryat Carmel and Herzeliya. The documents are from the Israel State Archives.

Immigrant Registration Questionnaires 1950 – (images available) update
Questionnaires for 5,662 immigrants from various countries that arrived in 1950. The surnames begin with the letter aleph. This part of a sample of questionnaires open to the public on the Israel State Archives website

Civil Servants 1950-1951 תשי”א – (images available)
The government publishes a year book almost every year. This list is of 1,955 people in national and local government offices. These books can be found on the website of the Israel State Archive

Prisoners of Zion – (images available) 1948-1956
This includes two lists of Azerei Zion (Prisoners of Zion) found in files in the Israel State Archives. There are 28 names from Iraq & Egypt from the year 1956 and 196 names from the years 1948-1954 from Eastern Europe.

Heavy Equipment Operators 1956  – (images available)
Various professions and occupations require licenses that have to be renewed. This collection includes 467 that passed safety regulations. The documents are from the Israel State Archives..

2007 & 1969  Candidates Histadrut & Na’amat Elections – (images available)
It includes the names of  7,940 candidates in 1969 for the following elections: Histadrut (general), farmers and Na’amat. These lists were found in the Jewish Historical Press of the National Library of Israel. The list of 2,902  candidates for the 2007 elections were found at the Lavon Institute Archives.l

Immigration to Israel 1974 –  (images available)
15,219 immigrants that arrived in Israel in the months January – April & October. The lists are from the Israel State Archives.
