There is no doubt that Israel is going through one of its worst times due to the war, politics, and
economics, but we are standing strong, continuing to support our people and our country, while
working towards our goals in genealogy.

IGRA continues to scan material from archives in Israel and around the world, transcribing the
records and making them accessible to everyone. We are also planning webinars and lectures,
expanding our reach both within the country and beyond, ensuring that everyone knows what is
available and how to conduct their research effectively.

After many years of volunteering in different areas, this is my time to lead as the president of
IGRA. However, I cannot and will not do this alone, as I have a wonderful team by my side. We
still need more volunteers to help in various areas such as social media, technology, webinars,
transcriptions, transliterations, and management.

This year, we finalized two wonderful partnerships with JewishGen and MyHeritage, which have
helped spread the word about IGRA records. More such partnerships are in the making, and we
hope they will soon become a reality. We hosted a webinar series focused on the latest
technologies available for genealogy, organized tours to archives and libraries, and continue to
publish relevant articles.

We welcome anyone, and I invite each of you to step up and help IGRA bring more records and
knowledge to the genealogy community.

We remain steadfast in supporting our people: those who are victims of the war and those
displaced from their homes. We pray for peace and the immediate return of the hostages. We
wish everyone a year filled with health, peace, happiness, and productive genealogy research.
