On Wednesday, June 11, 2014 IGRA held its Annual Meeting at Beit Hatfutsot in Tel Aviv. There were members from seven communities from the Negev up to Netanya and even on the internet! A special thanks to all who made the effort to come to the meeting.
There was discussion about the activities of IGRA in the past year and also regarding future goals and activities. The report of the President will be made available to IGRA members in the near future.
Elections were held and the results are as follows:
Executive: President – Garri Regev; Secretary – Carol Hoffman; Treasurer – Leesa Goren; Members-at-large – Rosemary Eshel and Rose Feldman
Board: Daniel Horowitz and Rose Lerer Cohen (plus Eyal Hollander, Esther Rechtschafner and Ingrid Rockberger who were not up for re-election)
Audit Committee: Eitan Shilo, Billie Stein and Daniel Wagner
We are all looking forward to the coming year of activity leading up to the IAJGS International Jewish Genealogy Conference to be held in Jerusalem July 6-10, 2015.
