IGRA was among those recognized on April 6, 2016 during the Herlitz Day seminar in Tel Aviv.
The certificate we received states:
The Israel Genealogy Research Association is awarded a Certificate of Appreciation by the Association of Israeli Archivists.
IGRA leads and contributes greatly to the accessibility of genealogical information in Archives and in building databases with its volunteers and making them available on their website.
IGRA maintains an open website with databases, research resources, articles and recorded lectures in order to assist those in Israel and abroad with their family research and in finding information about their relatives.
This work is done in cooperation with Archives throughout Israel and abroad. We are pleased that many are members of the Association of Israeli Archivists.
